Hangouts Meet is a free online service of Google that can be used with your UA&P (uap.asia) account. The platform allows you to create, join, and participate in video meetings or calls.

  • available for laptops or desktop using any web browser via meet.google.com
  • also apps available on Android or Apple iOS devices
  • allows for a maximum of 250 participants per call
  • provides live streaming capability for up to 100,000 viewers within the uap.asia domain
  • allows your participants to interact using audio or chat messaging
  • provides options to show a presentation, a video, or share your screen
  • provides an option to add on-screen captions (transcript) of audio captures on-the-fly
  • allows you to record your online discussions and save them to your Google Drive

Open Broadcasting Software or OBS Studio is a free and open source software for video recording and live streaming.

YouTube Live is a free service from Google that allows you to stream to an audience in real time.

  • Available on Windows, MacOS, or Linux computers
  • Real time video/audio streaming
  • Interact with viewers and host a live Q&A

Use an Interactive Digital Whiteboard using Open Board

OpenBoard is a free and open-source interactive whiteboard software compatible with any projector and pointing device.

  • Available on Windows, MacOS, or Ubuntu Linux computers
  • It can be used both with interactive whiteboards or in a dual-screen setup with a pen-tablet display and a projector.
  • Use a pen tablet, an interactive whiteboard or even a mouse to write and annotate your course.
  • Add videos, images, audio onto the digital whiteboard to enhance your display
  • Create and maintain separate pages (boards) and shift from one to the other
  • Add interactive gadgets such as a stopwatch, compass, maps, calculators onto your whiteboard for your use
